Hot press news: A major law firm that recently merged with another firm with a Seattle branch has recently sent one of my clients increasingly threatening letters of infringement. The thing is, there was no chance that my client came anywhere close to the claims of the allegedly infringed patent. This is an obvious case of overreaching. If this allegation ever went to trial we would have an excellent chance of obtaining attorney fees. You would think that a little basic research would be undertaken before such an obnoxious letter would be written.
What's up in Seattle? It appears that venture incubators are again going to be tried here. What I would like to see are some examples of this concept actually working. If you have some please send them along to me: patentpro@nwpatentgroup.com
